Panikeke Recipe

 Panikeke Recipe

Audience: People that are learning how to cook Samoan food

Purpose: To instruct


Ingredients

  1. 1/3 cup and 1 tablespoon and 2 teaspoons all-purpose flour.
  2. 2 tablespoons and teaspoons white sugar
  3. 2 teaspoons baking powder
  4. 2 very ripe bananas
  5. 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  6. 3 tablespoons of water
  7. 3/4 cup vegetable oil for frying

Directions

Step 1: Combine the flour, Sugar, and baking powder in a bowl until thoroughly mixed, and water to make a smooth, sticky dough.

Step 2: Heat oil in a deep-fryer or large saucepan to 350 degrees F (175 degrees). After you heat up your deep-fryer or large saucepan put oil in , the oil should be at least 3 inches deep to cover the panikekes.

Step 3: Scoop up a scant 1/4 cup of batter with a large spoon and use another spoon to push it off into the oil. Fry in small batches of 4 or 5 until they float to the top and turn golden brown, about 3 minutes, then flip them to the other side. Remove the fryer or saucepan and let them drain on a paper towels. Then put you topping of choice on them and they are ready to eat.

My Favorite Food Recipe ( For My Identity Slides This Week )

 Purpose: To Instruct 

Audience: Someone that is learning to cook

Remember To: To use paragraphs


Ingredients 

200g of butter

1 cup Chelsea white sugar

1 cup Chelsea soft brown sugar 

2 Eggs

2 tsp vanilla essence

3 cups Edmond standard Grade Flour

Pinch of salt

1tsp Edmond baking powder

2 cups chocolate chips

Method

Preheat Oven to 180*C and grease or line to large baking trays with baking paper.

Melt Tararua butter, then add Chelsea white sugar and Chelsea soft brown sugar and cream these together. Beat in the eggs and vanilla then use a spoon or spatula to mix the dry ingredients.

Roll into medium sized balls and placed on prepared trays. Then make them flat and put the chocolate chips on. Bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly browned around the edges.

Leave to cool on trays for a couple of minutes, before transferring to a wire cooling tray.

 For this weeks art rotation I have Mr Ward and we had to make a song which was either Video games, Spooky, TV show or fanfare. We had to set a record so here is my song I made. I hope next time I come I beat my record.

My Step By Step Writing

 How To Take Care Of A Horse

Step 1. Feed the horse hay and/or grain morning and night.

Step 2. Clean and refill water buckets morning and night.

Step 3.Muck out stalls morning and night. Muck means picking out the manure and urine spots.

Step 4. Replace fresh bedding.

Step 5. Check and pick out hooves daily

Step 6.  Remove blankets in the morning and replace it in the evening in winter months

Step 7. Spray horse with fly spray or insect repellent morning and evening during summer months.

Step 8. Turn your horse out daily so he can walk around, stretch his legs, roll and get some fresh grass and sunshine

Step 9. Exercise your horse at least several time a week by riding him in the ring, on a trail or lunging him, which is exercising him on a long rein.


That is how you take care of a horse and hopefully you will learn something new from what I said in my step by step writing!.
