I found it really encouraging to hear that other cultures can join in with kapa haka. Even though I am Pakeha, I really enjoy kapa haka and I feel so privileged to join in. I feel excited when I get to do kapa haka, and sometimes tired too! How do you feel when you do kapa haka?

  3. Hi Elena, you have shown a good understanding of the structure of persuasive writing here. You've included an introduction, different paragraphs to discuss several arguments and conclusion. Well done! I also liked how you used a rhetorical question to invite your readers.

Continue to add examples and explain your thinking. You mentioned that kapa haka improves your health. How does it do this? For example, you can talk about the movements in kapa haka, such as turning, stamping, stretching and how this can strengthen your muscles.

It is really awesome that we have people from all cultures at school that join in kapa haka. Sometimes I get goose bumps watching you all perform! Would you like to be a role model for Kapa Haka?
